2005 – Doctor of Engineering Science, the dissertation on "Development of the physical and technological foundations of the pyrolytic synthesis method using donor-acceptor complexes for the epitaxial build-up of wide-gap nitrides on sapphire".

He was awarded the medal "850 years of Moscow", the badge "Honorary Worker of Higher Professional Education of the Russian Federation" and other medals.
