The college was opened in 2001. At that time it was called Center for Integrated Education, Russian Electronics College. It was established for specialized secondary education. More than 200 students are currently enrolled.
Students are trained in Microelectronics and Computer Engineering by request of Russian Hi-Tech companies and plants.
Many students are employees of companies that pay for their education in college.
Students, who excel in studies, have an opportunity to get a Specialist degree. After graduating they are enrolled as second year students of Informatics and Microelectronics Department and in three and a half years of training based on special curriculum they get a degree.
College education is 2 years and 10 months long. Upon finishing the college graduates get the qualification proved by a diploma.
The training is carried out by highly competent university lecturers, the classes and practicum are held at MIET. Practical training is carried out by corresponding companies.
