MIET takes the 20th place Russian unverisites in THE University Ranking of Eurasia Nations

According to Phil Thety, the editor-in-chief of THE World University Rankings, positions of the Russian universities in this regional ranking reflect their various strong points within a wide range of credible, reliable and independent indicators. The new rating used the internationally recognized performance indicators - indicators of the THE general rating. These include: teaching (learning environment), research (volume, income and reputation), citation (the impact of research), international interaction (employees, students and research), income from productive activities (innovations).
It is worth noting that 17 Russian universities in the Rating are the participants of the federal project "5-100" and receive significant state support to improve their competitiveness among the world's leading research and educational centers. MIET turned out to be among the 10 Russian universities that were included in the new rating THE, but it doesn't participate in the "5-100" project.
Let us recall that this spring MIET was ranked among the universities in countries with actively developing economy according to THE, where it also took the 20th position among Russian universities.
