The Institute of Microdevices and Control Systems (MCS) was established on September 1, 2017, on the basis of three Microdevices and Technical Cybernetics Chairs and the Intelligent Technical Systems Department, including their research divisions.

The goal of the MCS is to develop the professional environment in order to create information management and radio systems and to train personnel through involving students in project activities under the supervision of leading scientists and tech designers.

The strategy of the Institute is to create and develop an enterprise consortium aimed at finding and overcoming technological barriers using bleeding-edge technologies and personnel training through the interdisciplinary research to create information management and radio systems from electronic components to devices.

The Institute has 329 employees*, 11 of which have Doctor degree, and 55 of which have Candidate of Science degree (66 total):
