	 The Institute of Nano and Microsystem Technology (NMT) was founded on September 1, 2017, on the basis of the Chair of Microelectronics, its research divisions and the Chair of Technical Mechanics.




	 The goal of the Institute is to develop educational, scientific (technical, production) achievements and the professional environment for creating promising designs and technologies for elements and components of microelectronics, nano- and microsystem equipment, robotic science (mechatronics), computational tools, etc. It is also aimed at personnel training in the fields corresponding to the Institute's activities through involving students in scientific and design activities under the supervision of leading scientists and tech designers.





	 The Institute offers studies for bachelors and masters in the field of “Design and technology of electronic means” and carries out research, development, and production of various sensor devices and systems.
