The Institute of Integrated Electronics was founded by the order of the Rector of the National Research University of Electronic Technology No. 342 dated April 12, 2023.
The Institute includes three chairs: Integrated Electronics and Microsystems (IEMS), Design and Construction of Integrated Circuits (DCIC) and Quantum Physics and Nanoelectronics (QPN), as well as their scientific and educational departments.
The mission of the Institute is to create an open environment for the personal and professional growth of talented researchers and engineers in the field of integrated electronics. It is based on the principle of involving students in projects under the guidance of leading scientists and designers of the industry.
The scientific staff and the faculty of the Institute is lead by Doctor of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Vladimir Losev, a scientist in the field of design of integrated analog-to-digital and microwave devices, author of over 90 scientific and educational published works, as well as several inventions. Vladimir Losev has a title of honorary worker of education of the Russian Federation.
The results of scientific research of the Institute are discussed annually at Russian and international conferences, where they get high praise. The Institute's research results are regularly published in highly rated domestic and foreign publications and are actively introduced into the educational process. Both in education and science, the Institute cooperates with Russian and foreign partners.
Students studying special disciplines and undergoing practical training in the laboratories of the Institute participate in R&D-related work. Internships with subsequent employment for students of the Institute are implemented at leading Russian enterprises of the electronics industry and at design centers.
The Institute of Integrated Electronics regularly hosts excursions for potential students, as well as scientific, educational and career-oriented events: master classes, lectures and seminars with showings of experiments.
