International Technical Summer School took place in MIET

On Friday students from the People's Republic of China received their course certificates from National Research University of Electroinc Technology within the framework of the International Technical Summer School dedicated to the next-generation mobile communication. For two weeks of training at the Department of Telecommunication Systems (TCS) the group of 30 people received basic knowledge in the field of 5G and had an opportunity to attend lessons of the Russian language. The language of the Summer School was English.

According to Vice-Rector for International Affairs Dmitry G. Kovalenko: "International summer schools boost into the experience exchange in the scientific and educational spheres. We hope that you enjoyed the program of the School and you will have positive memories of MIET and Russia".

As our guests attended Russia for the first time, they were extremely enthusiastic about the cultural program. The Chinese delegation visited Red Square and the Kremlin, Zaryadye and VDNKh parks, Vorobyovy Gory, the observation deck of the Ostankino TV tower and many other sights of the capital.

The students came to MIET from one of the best technical universities in China – the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC). This is the first International Summer School of this scale for MIET. The School organizers are the TCS department (educational program), the Office for Youth and Public Relations and the International Relations Division of MIET (organization of events and cultural program).
