MIET hosted 3rd MB-JASS

The main objective of the school is to further expand cooperation between participating universities in science and education.

Professors, postgraduate and graduate students from Belarus and Armenia joined the school together with representatives of organizers: Moscow and Bavaria.

The opening ceremony was attended by Sergei Gagin, vice-prefect of Zelenograd, Paul Whidbey, Sales Development Manager, Commercial Business Group, ProCurve Networking by HP, EMEA; Martin Gitsels, Vice-President, OOO Siemens, Rich Goldman, Vice-President, Synopsys, and other enterprise representatives.

• Biomedical engineering, including computer simulation and image processing
• Nanotechnologies and nanomaterials in electronics
• Telecommunication technologies and integrated circuit design for telecommunications

Russian, German and Armenian professors led the workshops including over 40 reports by graduate students from Bavarian universities as well as MIET, MSU (Moscow State University), BMSTU (Bauman Moscow State Technical University), BSUIR (Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radio Electronics) and SEUA (State Engineering University of Armenia). On top of that, a significant number of graduate and postgraduate students from Moscow participated in the workshops. The syllabus included also social events.
