At the meeting with Mentor Graphics executives MIET rector Yuri Chaplygin appreciated the university’s cooperation with Mentor Graphics in training students in System-on-a Chip design. Mentor Graphics general executive in Europe Daniel Le Boulbar and company’s technical director Benoit Gretere gave high assessment to the activities of the university in developing Mentor Graphics centre in MIET and expressed hope for further favourable cooperation. More than 100 specialists took part in the seminar, including representatives of 12 research and industrial enterprises of Zelenograd as well as MIET post-graduates and students.

The range of facilities offered by the company includes and may be used at all the stages of design and verification of integrated circuits, circuit boards and systems from conceptual stage to the stage of production. At the seminar the company was represented by its leading experts, they reviewed the situation in all these fields and analysed major trends of development for the near future.
