Institute of Nano and Microsystem Technology held an international conference with Mentor Graphics Company
Within the framework of the Center for National Technology Initiative "Sensory" activity MIET held the conference "Integrated design of microsystems using Mentor Graphics CAD systems". The conference was organized by the Institute of Nano and Microsystem Technology and Mentor Graphics company and attended by the university representatives and partner companies: Mentor Graphics, Siemens PLM, Megratec. The main speakers were employees of Mentor Graphics from Russia, France and Germany. For two days, more than 160 people from 46 companies and enterprises attended the conference.
The program also included excursions to MIET scientific departments, which develop microelectromechanical and optical sensors and high-density technologies. Cooperation in the field of education contemplates advanced training courses on PCB and on-chip systems design using Mentor Graphics CAD tools, MEMS PC courses, student practice, targeted and training of bachelors and masters for enterprises on contract basis.
As a result the Institute and Mentor Graphics signed a new partnership agreement and agreed on further holding of the international conferences.
