MIET entered Young University Rankings 2019 according to THE

The Times Higher Education (THE) Young University Rankings lists the world's best universities that are between 50 and 70 years old (Golden Age). THE agency also composes the world, thematic, rehearsal and regional ratings (Asia, Latin America and the BRICS countries).

This year 271 universities entered the published part of the Golden Age rating, which is 71 more than last year. The assessment used the same methodology as in the World University Rankings, which takes into account 13 performance indicators, divided into 6 blocks:

  • Teaching (learning environment)

  • Research (volume, income and reputation)

  • Citation (the impact of research)

  • Income from productive activities (innovations)

  • International interaction (employees, students and research)

  • Overall rating

This year MIET entered the ranking of the best young universities for the first time and took the position of 251+, as well as two other Russian universities, also included in the ranking.
