Piano Day comes back to Russia
In 2015 German composer and producer Nils Frahm proposed an idea to play piano concerts on the 88th day of the year (the number of keys on the instrument). Since then, the Piano Day festival has become one of the most anticipated events. Every year hundreds of pianists around the world gather to maintain tradition regardless of the style, genre or skills of the performers.
Zelenograd will host the celebration for the fifth time. More than 10 pianist composers of various styles and levels have already performed on the stage of MIET Concert Hall. It's a local tradition to search for new names and talents. This time there will be two solo performers, as well as a duet of piano and viola.
We welcome you on the 28th of March 28, 2020 at 18:00 at MIET Concert Hall.
Happy Piano Day!
