The delegation of our university visited Socialist Republic of Vietnam
From November 21 to 25, Vietnam hosted the educational event "Universities of Russia", organized by the Russian House in Hanoi. Geographically, the event covered the entire territory of the country: North, Center and South. Among the participants there were many leading universities of Russia, including MIET. During the event MIET representatives discussed with Vietnamese partners the prospects for cooperation, exchange of the teaching staff, made presentations of the university, and talked with schoolchildren and their parents.
The program lasted 5 days and MIET delegation visited many schools in different regions: Nguyen Binh Khiem in Tamky, educational institutions in Nam Dinh, a special school named after Nguyen Hue in Hanoi, as well as a special school named after Chang Fu in Haiphong.The schoolchildren and their parents saw the presentation of the university and knew about the features and benefits of studying under the quota of Russian Government.
Moreover, at the meeting with representatives of Hanoi State University, Vietnam State Technical University, Hanoi University of Mining and Geology and Hanoi Polytechnic University the Russian part discussed prospects for further cooperation.
