MIET postgraduate became a finalist in VK Cup

VK Cup is the annual programming championship held by the VK social network. According to the results of the second qualifying round, MIET postgraduate from the Chair of Higher Mathematics №1 Viktor Bordyuzha became the best in the “Machine Learning” category. Viktor shares his experience:
“A championship like this one is a breath of fresh air. I can't name any other way to grow and develop your skills as fast as here. In a short period of time you need to process so much data and conduct dozens of experiments in order to achieve a desirable goal — to become a winner. But aside from winning there is also an invaluable experience that will come in handy in my professional career. A championship is a fast and very efficient way to become better”.
In 2022 Viktor had big success in other programming competitions: in April he placed second in the nation-wide Cup IT 2022, and earlier in February he won the iVision hackathon in Karelia.
