University developments got the highest awards at the Moscow International Salon «Archimedes»

On March 28-30, MIET took part in the 26th Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovative Technologies "Archimedes". This year the salon was visited by representatives of 221 organizations from 35 regions of the Russian Federation and 27 states, also more than 600 innovative projects and inventions were demonstrated there.

MIET presented patents for an inventions and applications for an inventions and utility models from institutes and chairs of the university. The exhibits of the Institute of Systems and Software Engineering and Information Technology and the Chair of Information Security were awarded gold medals, the Institute of Advanced Materials and Technologies – a silver medal, and the Chair of Quantum Physics and Nanoelectronics and the Center for Collective Use "Microsystem Technology and Electronic Component Base" – bronze medals.

MIET was also awarded the Cup in the nomination "Innovative Potential of the Youth of Russia".

• Patent for an invention No. 2763043 "Device for detecting the fact of an attempt to obtain unauthorized access to speech information using laser acoustic reconnaissance systems"
• Application for a patent for an invention No. 2023103295 "Method of manufacturing a substrate with express self-formation of nanoparticles for obtaining spectra of giant Raman scattering of light"
• Patent for a utility model No. 209768 "High-voltage gallium nitride normally closed type transistor"
• Application for a utility model No. 2022133147 "Device for chemical separation of semiconductor wafers into crystals"

All inventions were aimed at achieving the highest technical characteristics in comparison with the available domestic and foreign counterparts, and thus, at solving the urgent problem of import substitution.
