MIET opened a Robotics School in Bishkek
The MIET School of Robotics was officially inaugurated at School № 61 in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. The University has equipped the school with a set of 30 robotic kits, a 3D printer and methodological recommendations prepared by specialists of the Children's Technopark "SMART PARK".
"This is a unique opportunity for high school students to master the basics of design, engineering and 3D modeling. We hope that in September, graduates will continue their studies in technical sciences at our university," specialist of the International Communications Department Marina Nikolaeva said at the opening ceremony.
Robotics classes have been taking place since the beginning of March under the strict guidance of computer science teachers, who in February underwent training on the development of automated technical systems in MIET. At the moment, classes are being implemented as part of the school's curriculum. There are also plans for the next academic year to open the school for everyone who would like to apply.
