SIEMENS LLC Vice-President Dr. Martin Gitsels was awarded a title of MIET Honored Professor
MIET Rector Yuri Chaplygin presented Dr. Gitsels with the honorable title at the meeting of the Academic Council. Dr. Gitsels has been delivering lectures in English on Project management in IT for Master students of MIET for 3 years. Also he regularly participates in the organization of MB-JASS (Moscow-Bavarian Joint Advanced Student School).
Professor Chaplygin on behalf of the University thanked Martin Gitsels for his contribution to MIET development and pointed out high relevance of the course that the masters have an opportunity to learn. In response Dr. Gitsels said, that he’s honored to lecture at MIET and to participate directly in the development of high technologies in Russia. Dr. Gitsels promised to do his best to promote cooperation between MIET and Siemens, LLC and the leading technical Universities in Germany.
Dr. Gitsels is the Head of Corporate Research & Technology and Vice-President of SIEMENS LLC, Moscow/St. Petersburg, Russia.
The title of MIET honored professor was founded a year ago. The first title of MIET honored professor was awarded to the Vice-President of Synopsys Dr. Rich Goldman.
