MIET made the ranking of scientific productivity of Russian universities

The "Expert" Analytical Center has presented the results of its latest study on university publication activity. MIET has entered the top tier of universities in several fields. Notably, MIET improved its position by three spots in publication activity in Computer Sciences.

In the 2025 ranking, MIET holds places in the following categories:

• Artificial Intelligence – 28-32

• Materials Science – 32

• Computer Sciences – 32

• Engineering Sciences – 36-38

The ranking is calculated based on four thematic blocks: "Scale" (25%), "Growth Quality" (15%), "Demand" (30%), and "Excellence" (30%). These categories carry different weights in the final score calculation. The indicators were calculated for the period 2021–2024.

Universities that published more than 0.5% of all Russian publications in the relevant field during the study period are included in the subject ranking.
