MIET at the International Conference Comp-SIF 2026 in India
The 2nd International Conference on Computing for Sustainability and Intelligent Future (Comp-SIF 2026) was held on March 13-14, 2026, in Bangalore, India. The Conference was organized by the BMS Institute of Technology and Management (India) with the support of its academic partners: the National Research University of Electronic Technology (MIET), The Japan University of Economics, Bradley University (USA), and the National University of Malaysia.
The primary goal of the Conference is to explore the intersection of advanced computing technologies and their role in promoting sustainability and shaping an intelligent future. The Conference included such topics as green computing, AI-driven sustainability initiatives, smart cities, energy-efficient technologies, and the ethical implications of intelligent systems. During the Comp-SIF 2026 Conference participants took part in 8 thematic tracks, including Sustainable Computing Technologies, Artificial Intelligence for a Sustainable Future, Big Data and Analytics for Sustainability, Cybersecurity in Sustainable Computing, and the 5G&6G design targets.
This year the MIET delegation was expanded and represented by leading scientists and researchers from the university: Alexey Dronov, Vice-rector for Research at MIET; Natalia Popova, Associate Professor at the Institute of Advanced Materials and Technologies; and Maria Chudakova, Assistant at the Institute of Advanced Materials and Technologies.
The visit by the MIET representatives was an important step in the development of international scientific cooperation. Participation in the Conference allowed MIET representatives to exchange experience with foreign colleagues, discuss new research horizons in the field of sustainable computing and strengthen position of the Russian scientists on the global stage. Furthermore, the Conference provided young researchers with a unique opportunity to identify potential areas for collaborative scientific research.
