New Russian Science Foundation competition win for MIET

The Russian Science Foundation has announced the results of its competitions for targeted and applied projects aimed at developing medical devices and innovative medical equipment. The projects focus on advancing promising technologies, including a vagus nerve stimulation system for epilepsy treatment, an impulse generator for deep brain stimulation systems and a urological endoscopic video system based on a flexible reusable video cystoscope and an endoscopic video processor.

Among the winners is a project from MIET: "Vagus Nerve Stimulation System for Anti‑Epileptic Therapy".

The Foundation will award grants for project implementation in the interests of qualified customers over 2026–2028. Each grant will provide up to 80 million rubles per year with mandatory co‑financing from the qualified customer of at least 10% of the grant amount.
