MIET Delegation visited Synopsys Week in Armenia
From October 27th until October 30th in Yerevan (Armenia) MIET representatives – Vice-Rector S.V. Umnyashkin and the Head of the joint educational program Synopsys-MIET A.A. Mindeeva took part in “Synopsys Week in Armenia”.
During the event visitors acquainted themselves with the program of masters' training in the field of Digital VLSI Chip Design with Cadence and Synopsys CAD Tools.
At the same time a postgraduate student, I. Zubov, and an undergraduate student, P.Volobuev, participated in the International Microelectronics Olympiad in Armenia. By results of the 2nd round I. Zubov won the 3d place among 50 participants.
We would remind you that Synopsys Masters program has been carried out in MIET since 2006. As of today 57 people – highly qualified specialists in the field of Very Large-Scale Integration (VLSI) design – successfully graduated from Synopsis-MIET Education Center.
