The Ministry of education and science initiated a federal law that simplifies the involvement of foreign experts in Russian universities

Federal Law №80 has come into effect. Short text of the new law consists of just two articles and considerably simplifies efforts to attract skilled foreign lecturers to Russian universities.

Since the law entered into force many foreign experts who have a business or humanitarian Russian visas can lecture at Russian universities on a paid basis. Foreign specialists, who arrived to our country not at a special business visa, used to lecture only on a voluntary basis.

For example, an honorable professor of MIET Dr. Martin Gittsels, vice-president of Siemens branch in Russia, has lectured on Project Management in IT and Computational Algorithms for three years for the Master Students of the Department of Computer Science and Telecommunications.
