Representatives of Plastic Logic meet MIET future graduates

On May, 17 Plastic Logic hold a meeting at MIET to hire future graduates for training and employment at a new plant. It should be mentioned that the plant for mass production of flexible electronic displays and modern devices will be opened in Zelenograd within the next few years. The company will require more than 400 specialists in electronics.

At the meeting Mark Vittske, a director of the project in Russia, told about the production site called FAB2. The factory that is ​​over 30,000 square meters will be situated in the Free Economic Zone "Zelenograd" (industrial site "Alabushevo") and will become the world’s largest manufacture of electronic components based on polymers. According to Dr. Peter Fischer, Plastic Logic Vice-President, the participants learned more about the history of the company and the requirements applied to the candidates.

Julie Reimann, HR Manager, noted that MIET was the first and still the only partner-university in Russia. The company has already received dozens of resumes from students and graduates. Candidates are being interviewed at the moment. Applicants succeeded will take part in joint educational training programs and additional training at the FAB1 in Dresden.
