MIET postgraduates took part in Synopsys Week in Erevan
From October 10 to 13 Synopsys Week including the fifth International Academic Competition in microelectronics was held in Yerevan, Armenia. At the event MIET was represented by the Head of Educational Centre Synopsys-MIET, postgraduates I.A. Zubov and P. S. Volobuev, selected according to results of the first round of the competition that took place on September 27 in MIET.
After the second round I.A. Zubov received an award for the best engineering solution, P. S. Volobuev became the fifth out of 40 participants.
The following persons took part in the event: President of Synopsys Company Chi-Foon Chan, Vice-President of Synopsys, Honorable Professor of MIET Rich Goldman, Head of Synopsys Educational Department in Armenia V. Sh. Melikyan.
