MIET Delegation participated in the international scientific conference in Germany

A group of scientists and graduate students of Biomedical Systems Chair took part in the international conference «Russian Bavarian Conference-2011» at the Friedrich-Alexander University (Erlangen, Germany). The delegation was headed by Professor Sergei V. Umnyashkin a Vice-rector for International Affairs and IT.

Our delegators reported on biomaterials, optical technology, signal processing and modeling. Their presentations described researches in the field of implants and implantable devices, as well as electrical biosignals and electrotherapy.

Technical University of Munich hosted the first “Russian Bavarian Conference” in 2005. The following conferences were held by leading German and Russian universities, particularly, the fourth conference took place at MIET in 2008.
