Ambassador of Myanmar in Russia visited MIET
This year the Day of Foreign Citizens Training Department was timed to two events: to the Myanmar New Year and the 10th anniversary of Myanmar students teaching in MIET.
U Min Thein, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Myanmar in Russia, visited the concert held at the MIET Concert hall. Before the event, distinguished guest had a city sightseeing tour and spoke about student life and study.
Sergei A. Lupin, Dean of the Department of Foreign Citizens Training, started the celebration with his congratulations to the students. The concert program mainly consisted of dances and songs in Russian and Myanmar. Foreign students made a humorous performance, Russian students prepared Myanmar folk dance.
