Moscow-Bavarian Student School MB-JASS was first held in Munich

March 27 - April 2 Bavaria hosted the 6th Annual Moscow-Bavarian Student School MB-JASS, organized by MIET and Technical University of Munich (TUM). The first five years, the school took place in MIET, and this year for the first time in Germany. The main organizers of MB-JASS are MIET Vice-rector Sergei V. Umnyashkin and Prof. TUM Ernst Mayr assured the participants that this project would be developed in the future.

This year educational process consisted of three sections; each was supervised by two professors (one from MIET and one from TUM) and assistants. Each participant of a scientific school (students and postgraduates), had to make a presentation in English. Since the school was based in a special hotel, the participants had the opportunity to meet and discuss their ideas, or communicate with each other. There was another interesting surprise for the participants: since all the rooms were doubles, a student from Russia lived with a student from Germany.

The organizers and the participants did their best to make success. As the result of such well co-ordinated work nobody was disappointed.
