The fifth anniversary master graduation from the Synopsys-MIET program

On June 6 MIET awarded diplomas to 18 masters successfully finished a two-year international education program.

The master’s program is based on the EDA software tools from Synopsys and special training program for the development of large scale integrated circuits (VLSI) granted by Synopsys Department in Armenia within Synopsys World University Programs. Synopsys is a world leader in CAD systems and developing software instruments for IC design, verification and manufacture of semiconductor integrated circuits.

Today Synopsys Center for Technological Simulation of Semiconductor Structures TCAD graduates 92 students.

The ceremony was opened by G.K.Lukoshko, presented “NRUME and Micron”. Prof. S.V. Umnyashkin, Vice-rector for International Affairs and IT, M.G. Putrya, Dean of the Department of Electronics and Computer Technologies, A.A. Mindeeva, the Head of Synopsys Education Center for IC Design, and T.Yu. Krupkina, the Deputy Head of the Department of IEMS congratulated graduates.

Press secretary CJSC “Synopsis Armenia” Gayane Markosian congratulated MIET graduates on behalf of the Synopsys Vice-President, MIET professor, Dr. Rich Goldman: “Synopsys provides software and training program to help MIET to achieve high level and we are delighted that our joint alumni are already making a major contribution to the revival of the Russian semiconductor industry”.
