MIET delegation visited Technical University of Catalonia (Spain)

On June 16-23 MIET delegation visited Technical University of Catalonia (UPC) (Spain) and discussed scientific cooperation in the field of bio-and nanotechnology.

During the visit MIET delegation, included representatives of different departments and Zelenograd Innovation and Technological Centre (ZITT), acquainted with the educational process and discussed joint bilingual program for MIET masters. Since 2012/2013 academic year UPC is included in the academic exchange program “Erasmus Mundus” and MIET students as well as students from other countries will be able to study at UPC MA course.

MIET employees saw UPC innovative infrastructure and held talks on the cooperation in the framework of supporting and coordinating the startups created by MIET students and young scientists.

Also MIET delegation participated in the 4th NanoNetworking Summit 2012 and presented the main researches in the development of devices based on new nanomaterials, biomedical systems and wireless communication. MIET reached arrangements for developing the joint research programs within the Nanonetworking cooperation.
