MIET professors took part in the Italian-Russian Conference
The conference was organized by “La Sapienza”, MIET, Bauman Moscow State Technical University and Intersectoral Institute of Training and Retraining.
We would remind you that a year ago MIET and “La Sapienza” signed an agreement on cooperation. Within the framework of this agreement the universities are planning to implement the “double degree” program. The visit of MIET delegation, headed by Vice-Rector for Education I.G. Ignatova, was aimed to strengthen mutual relations between the two universities.
The conference was attended by Rector Luigi Frati, vice-rectors, deans, professors and researchers of Sapienza University, as well as representatives of 19 Russian universities, companies and organizations.
The conference covered a wide range of issues of ICT in higher education:
- Modernization of higher education: the experience of ICT using by Italian and Russian universities;
- Modern educational programs and training technologies, the use of e-learning in higher education and cloud services in e-learning;
- Transformation of the classical systems of education to form and develop Smart-universities, to create electronic platforms with arrays of open educational online resources etc.
