UPC representative lectured at MIET
On 20 May MIET hosted the presentation of educational programs for Master and PhD of Polytechnic University of Catalonia (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya).
Our university has been cooperating with one of the leading technical universities in Europe in the framework of the European project TEMPUS since 2008. In summer 2011 MIET and UPC signed the agreement of participating in the student exchange program. It provides an opportunity to realize a joint training of masters and to grant a "double degree". The program is available for students since 2013.
Annually MIET holds training courses for scientific, teaching staff and students with the participation of teachers from Polytechnic University of Catalonia.
UPC Prof. Marcel Fernandez read a set of lectures in English during his visit to MIET on 20-24 May.
During the lectures the following topics were covered:
- The need of free threading and synchronization in programming
- JAVA network programming
- Multi-threaded server architecture
Admittance was for free.
