MIET hosted the 10th graduation ceremony of MIET-Cadence Device and System Design Institute
Device and System Design Institute was established at MIET in 2001. Our university was first Cadence associate university outside the USA. Cadence is the world leader in the software development for electronic design. The program graduates are in demand among the leading enterprises in the field of the microelectronics.
Traditionally, the ceremony began with the national student anthem. MIET Rector Yu.A. Chaplygin congratulated graduates. Then Christian Schinnerl, the Sales Director at Cadence, A.A. Ivanov, the director of business development at Cadence Design Systems, and M.G. Putrya, Dean of Electronics and Computer Technology Department took the floor and wished them good luck.
T.Yu. Krupkina, the Deputy Head of the Chair of IEMS, noted that the vast majority of graduates received honors and prepared their master thesis at very high level.
