Glyndwr representatives appreciated a high level of MIET students’ master's theses
Late April, a delegation of Glyndwr University visited MIET. Representatives of the British university lectured for MIET students, as well as heard and appreciated the defences of Master’s thesis prepared within the framework of “double degree” program.
The program of the visit included a meeting with the rector of National Research University “MIET” Yuri A. Chaplygin, representatives of the department of Foreign Languages and a tour of the university.
The delegation from Glyndwr University included:
• Peter Excell - Professor, Dean of the Institute for Arts, Science and Technology;
• Victor Grout - professor;
• Barrie Birmingham - lecturer;
• Brian Klaveness - lecturer;
• Denise Oram - lecturer;
• Dianne Excell - lecturer;
• John Davies - lecturer;
• John Worden - lecturer;
• Yuri Vagapov - lecturer
It was the second defence within the framework of “double degree” program. According to the Attestation Commission, MIET students showed a high level of their presentations: 13 people on “Computer science” and 10 people on “Advanced Electronics”.
Final results will be announced in autumn.
This summer the third group of MIET students will go to Glyndwr University to master the summer semester of “double degree” program.
