MIET rector attended the GSMA Mobile World Congress

In March Barcelona (Spain) hosted the GSMA Mobile World Congress 2014 is the place where mobile leaders gather, collaborate and conduct business. The annual event provides the planet’s best venue for mobile industry networking, new business opportunities and deal-making. This year Mobile World Congress hosted more than 85,000 mobile professionals from more than 200 countries.

The Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation showed the scientific developments of leading national universities on "Information and telecommunication systems": software, intelligent systems, networking solutions, security technologies, Internet and multimedia technology, mobile solutions, telecommunications etc.

MIET rector Yuri A. Chaplygin took part in the Congress on the delegation of the Ministry. MIET presented a Left ventricular assist device (LVAD) created in conjunction with Zelenograd Innovation and Technology Centre.
