MIET hosted the graduation ceremony from Synopsys-MIET program
On June 11 MIET awarded diplomas and certificates of Synopsys to masters successfully completed the two-year program of international education. Synopsys is a world leader in CAD systems and develops software instruments for IC design, verification and manufacture of semiconductor integrated circuits.
The master’s program is based on the EDA software tools from Synopsys and special training program for the development of large scale integrated circuits (VLSI) granted by Synopsys Department in Armenia within Synopsys World University Programs. The program started at MIET in 2006 based on Synopsys Education Center for IC Design.
The ceremony was opened by Vice-rector for Research Sergey A. Gavrilov. Rich Goldman, Synopys Vice President and MIET professor, lectured on "The Internet: Dawn of a New Era". MIET rector Yuri A. Chaplygin congratulated the graduates and wished them good luck.
Then all the guests and graduates met with the participants of MIET Center of Computer Training and they discussed history of electronics.
