Students of Graphic Design Department visited Scandinavia

In summer students of the Graphic Design Department did museum and plein-air practice in Scandinavia. The group visited Stockholm, Helsinki and St. Petersburg. The theme of the practice was "Scandinavian traditions, style and design" (classical and modern art).
The students made sightseeing tours around the cities, visited galleries and exhibitions of modern art. In St. Petersburg students had a master-class in pastel drawing and a master-class in painting on porcelain at the Imperial porcelain factory. They also visited "Oranienbaum" - the country residence of the emperors.
During theor visit MIET students made sketches and drawings, saw cultural, historical and architectural monuments.
