Dmitry Medvedev visited MIET
On May 20, Prime Minister D. Medvedev visited MIET accompanied by MIET Rector Yu. Chaplygin and the Minister of Education and Science D. Livanov. He got acquainted with the latest MIET education programs and then moved on to theoretical and practical projects of the university. MIET scientists exhibited a Wearable Assist Circulation Device - a unique creation of Biomedical Systems Chair - as well as a Unified System of Home Energy Supply Calculations by Materials of Electronics Chair, a 3D-Printer by Department of Intellectual Technical Systems, latest projects of Information Security, Microelectronics and Telecommunications Chairs, Zelenograd Innovation and Technology Center and other achievements.
After putting a signature in the Book of Honourable Guests Mr. Medvedev headed to the library where he met with the Council for the Implementation of Priority National Projects and Demographic Policy. The list of participants included Vice Prime Ministers I. Shuvalov and O. Golodets, minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation M. Men, minister of Finance A. Siluanov, minister of Labor and social Protection M. Tolipin, representatives of state departments and heads of leading universities of Russia. The main topic on the agenda was the development of leading universities.
