MIET hosted the graduation ceremony from international Synopsys-MIET program
On June 11 MIET awarded diplomas and certificates of Synopsys to 16 masters successfully completed the two-year international program.
This is the eighth class of graduates since the existence of the joint program. Taking into account this year, 145 students and 4 candidates of sciences successfully graduated.
The ceremony began with the lecture "Challenges and solutions of modern ICs" of honorary MIET professor V. Melikyan. He mentioned that year by year we were witnessing intensive usage of Synopsys programs and higher quality of graduation papers.
MIET Rector Yu. A. Chaplygin, Synopsys General Director E.N. Ivanova, Synopsys Sales Manager and the first class graduate of a Synopsys-MIET master program O. Gudkova, director of the Synopsys-MIET Educational Center A.A. Mindeeva and the Dean of Electronics and Computer Technologies Department M.G. Putrya took the floor with greeting words.
Next academic year four new courses in analog and analog-to-digital design will complement the existing two-year master’s program Synopsys-MIET.
