The twelfth graduation ceremony of MIET-Cadence Device and system design institute took place in MIET
On June 10 MIET hosted the twelfth graduation ceremony of MIET-Cadence Device and system design institute. In 2015 13 students successfully completed the program.
The first one to congratulate masters was MIET Rector Yu.A. Chaplygin. The Dean of the Electronics and Computer Technologies department M.G. Putrya and the Deputy Head of the Chair of Electronics and Integrated Microsystems T.Yu. Krupkina addressed the graduates with parting words. Also the ceremony was attended by Director of Business Development Cadence Design Systems A.A. Ivanov and the head of the academic program Cadence EMEA A. Klotz. During the event, Mr. Klotz made a report "The role of engineer in the modern world."
Device and system design institute was established in MIET in 2001. At that time our university was the first university out of the US bounds, who became the partner of Cadence, the world leader in the development of software tools for IC design.
