MIET professor joined the committee for awarding the International Prize in Nanotechnology Rusnanoprize
On July 24 there were declared the members of the committee awarding the VII International Prize in Nanotechnology Rusnanoprize-2015. It included more than 20 leading scientists and innovative businessmen from Russia, Japan, Germany, Switzerland, China, USA, Canada and the Netherlands.
The Head of the Chair of Intelligent energy-saving systems, professor of Materials of functional electronics Chair Yuri I. Stern, the author of more than 150 scientific papers, including 17 inventions joined the jury. Yuri Stern has been working in MIET since 1969, the area of his scientific and technological activities are intelligent systems of energy control, semiconductor power converters, high-precision temperature technologies.
"The award is interesting because it is granted only to those organizations that are successful in implementing their innovative products. To get to the applicants is not an easy task", - said Yu. Stern.
This year Rusnanoprize will be awarded for the seventh time in the field of energy efficiency and "green" technologies.
