MIET ranked among the best universities in the BRICS countries and developing economies according to THE

Times Higher Education World University Rankings published a rating of 200 best universities in the BRICS & Emerging Economies Rankings 2016. The ranking includes 35 countries, as well as 15 Russian high schools (last year there were only 7). National Research University of Electronic Technology took 13th place among Russian universities and 173th place in the overall ranking.

The rating is based on 13 indicators grouped into five categories: education, scientific research, citedness, internationalization and innovations. The best result among Russian universities showed Lomonosov Moscow State University, that took third place.
