Systems research and methodology seminar took place in MIET

The representatives of "Ruselectronics", "Rusnano", "Russian Space Systems"companies; governing body and employees of MEPhI, TUSUR, MPEI, MAI, RSREU, ETU "LETI", SFedU, SSAU universities; representatives of such companies as Mikron Group, Novorado LLC, Angstrem Group, MRI Progress, RMC Technological Centre MIET, SRISA RAS, Milandr, Zelenograd Nanotechnology Centre, NICEVT, ELVEES, Cadence and others attended the event.

Yuri A. Chaplygin, MIET rector, opened the plenary session of the meeting. Reports on prospects of modern electronic hardware development and current state of electronics as a whole were made. Then the participants attended the seminar prepared jointly with Cadence Company. The speakers were: Arsenii V. Brykin, Deputy General "Ruselectronics" Director, with the report"Development of professional expertise systems in electronics and nanotech"; Elena N. Soboleva, infrastructural and educational programs director of the Fund of educational projects and programs, with the report "Professional and public accreditation. Interaction with professional community"; Irina G. Ignatova, MIET vice-rector for academic affairs, with the report "Universities networking".

The participants were highly interested in reports on professional qualifications systems, requirements and possibilities of professional and public accreditation and means of universities networking. The speakers proposals were aimed at improving the competitiveness of universities, reaching the effect monitoring standards and universities integration with industry companies.

At the end of the meeting guests visited "Zelenograd Centre of innovation technology" where they learned about the modern IC processing equipment.
