MIET is ranked among the best universities according to the scientific indicator of QS BRICS University Rankings for 2016

On July 20 the fourth QS BRICS ranking came out. It shows the leading universities development of five countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa).

The ranking is based on 8 indicators:

• the academic reputation,
• the reputation among employers,
• the academic staff and students ratio,
• the percentage of employees with post-graduate degrees,
• the number of published articles per one scientific employee or professor,
• the publications citation rate,
• the percentage of foreign teachers and students.

MIET took a leading position among Russian universities: the 3rd place according to the "the number of published articles” indicator (19 places more than in 2014) and the 4th place according to “the publications citation rate” indicator (20 places more than in 2014).

In the overall ranking MIET took places from 201 to 250.
