The Republic of the Union of Myanmar Ambassador visits his compatriot's doctoral thesis defence
For several years MIET has been pursuing Masters, Ph.D. programmes for the Republic of the Union of Myanmar citizens. During this time more than 500 Masters, more than 50 Philosophy Doctors have graduated from the university.
On September 22 MIET first held the defence procedure of a doctoral thesis carried out by the foreighn applicant. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Mr. Ting Yu Zhuo Ze E visited the event. The defence of his countryman was successful - Dissertation Council unanimously approved his scientific work.
During the visit the Ambassador had a meeting with MIET rector V. Bespalov, prasident U.Chapligin and vice-rector for International Affairs and Youth Relations D.Kovalenko. Parties discussed the opportunities to broaden the cooperation in the field of Myanmar citizens training in our university.
