The meeting of MIET leading scientists and IT companies leadership takes place
On 13 October, the Academic Council hall held the meeting of MIET leading scientists and "IT" companies leadership. Its main aim was to determine the cooperation prospects between the university and the "IT" companies in the field of modern information technologies. Vice-Rector of MIET S. Gavrilov greeted audience and then the "IT Energofinance" general director P. Sotulenko provided an overview of the implementing projects. He demonstrated the public lighting modernization technology, integrated high-tech solutions for the automation of various business areas, ways of integrating intelligent streets, roads and businesses lighting systems, as well as solutions for the "Smart City" project.
On behalf of MIET technical and technological solutions in the IT-sphere were presented by Ph.D. A. Pereverzev, Ph.D. E. Yanakova, prof. Ph.D. S. Timoshenko, prof. Ph.D. V. Roschin, assoc.prof. Ph.D. I. Pyanov, assoc.prof. Ph.D. A.Bahtin and the representatives of partner companies of the Computer Science and Telecommunications department: A. Kapranov and A. Shiryaev ("Terminal Technologies"), A.Groshihin (SensArt Technologies).
After a brief exchange of views on developments MIET guests in the name of companies directors P. Sotulenko I. Knyazev (the company "Advanced Self-Service"), M. Miheloev ("IT Smart City") and "IT" companies experts M. Zasetski, D. Nemirovski discussed possible cooperation areas with the head of the Data Processing and Computer Software Design chair prof. L. Gagarina.
As a result of the meeting the corresponding agreement will be prepared.
