MIET enters the top ten Russian universities on innovation activity

ITMO University and "Russian venture company" with the participation of domestic and foreign experts have monitored the innovation activity effectiveness of the Russian universities. MIET took the 9th place in the ranking.

The criteria for evaluation of national research universities, federal universities and the Project 5-100 participants were figures in innovation and business environment, technology transfer and impact of the university on the external socio-economic environment.

According to a number of indicators – «the number of programs of innovation and entrepreneurial orientation (including agreements on the establishment of the basic departments), the number of command-resident business incubators and technology parks» MIET is ranked first among Russian universities and third according to the number of existing small innovative businesses, established at the university since 2009.
