MIET is ranked again among the best universities in the world according to RankPro

MIET entered the TOP-600 universities of the international professional rating of universities Worldwide Professional University Rankings RankPro 2016/2017 (RankPro). A total of 44 Russian universities fell in the rating this year.

The other day the International Council of Scientists (ICS) took stock of RankPro 2016/2017. RankPro is one of the most prestigious ratings of universities according to the opinions and assessments of the high-level experts - professors from various universities from more than 40 countries. About two thousand universities of the planet participated in the selection.

RankPro annual ranking is compiled by the International Council of scientists (ICS) in cooperation with the Latvian Academy of Sciences in the international program "Global world Communicator. Education and science" (GWC). The selection is based on three criteria: academic ranking – academic possibilities of a university; ranking by BC index – the availability of information on the website of the university; reputation ranking.

The main factors in the rating selection are: the number of foreign students and teachers, the number of scientific and pedagogical staff with academic degrees, the quality and quantity of educational programs, research activities of the university, the availability of scientific publications, etc.
