MIET receives the award from Cisco Networking Academy for long-term cooperation
For more than 10 years Cisco Networking Academy has been successfully working in MIET. In 2006 MIET, Cisco Systems (USA) and IT company (Russia) signed "The Agreement on cooperation in the field of hardware and software, information technology and system integration services". The agreement is aimed at joining efforts to implement Cisco’s modern and unique information technologies to ensure successful implementation of national programs and projects of the Russian Federation in the field of education and science.
Implementation of the planned actions helped to create in MIET Local IT Academy Cisco with all the necessary equipment and methodological support and to prepare certified specialists. Cisco IT Academy (Information-analytical center and the Telecommunication Chair) trains students, teachers and future instructors. Telecommunication and Computer Science professors upgrade training courses taught to students on the basis of Cisco IT Academy information.
Cisco has awarded the MIET honorary award for long-term successful collaboration.
