Representatives of Dongguan University of Technology visit MIET
On May 22, a Chinese delegation which comprises representatives of Dongguan University of Technology: Mr. Liu Quan (Deputy Director of the Building Leading Group), Mr. Li Peijin (Deputy Director of the Buildings Department), Ms. He Xianqing (Director of the Advertising Department), Mr. Wei Hongquan (Deputy Director of Student Affairs), Mr. Wang Qian (Head of International Relations Department), Mr. Xu Jin (Director of the Russian Center of the Research Institute of Qinghua University in Shenzhen) visited MIET.
The delegation met with D.G. Kovalenko, Vice-rector for International Affairs and Youth Relations, S.A. Gavrilov, Vice-rector for Research, and S.A. Lupin, Dean of the International Students Department. The also learned the structure and spheres of the university’s activity, visited quantum physics and nanoelectronics, biomedical systems and telecommunication systems chairs.
As a result of the meeting, a cooperation agreement between the universities was signed. Dongguan University of Technology is a young, intensively developing university, whose honorary president is Chenning Young, the Nobel Prize winner in physics. The university specializes in technical subject training. The university is located in Dongguan City, which is one of the most economically developed production centers in China and has the status of "Garden City".
