MIET participated in the international exhibition "China Education Expo 2017"
At the end of October Beijing hosted the exhibition "China Education Expo 2017", which was presented to universities and educational organizations from Europe, USA, Canada and Asia. The main organizer was Chinese educational Association for international exchange.
Representatives of leading universities became the members of the Russian delegation to China. During the two days of the exhibition all visitors could obtain information about the conditions of acceptance of foreign students at higher educational institutions in Russia, the programs of higher, professional and additional education for foreigners, about the possibilities of preparatory faculties of higher education institutions and programmes of teaching the Russian language.
MIET presented the specializations of two levels of higher education – bachelor’s degrees and master’s degrees. Traditionally, the Chinese applicants are mostly interested in education in the field of IT-technologies.
During the business part of the program there was held a meeting in Beijing with representatives of the Russian cultural centre (RCC), where O. Melnikov, the head of the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in China, took the floor. There were presented the abilities of the RCC for working with Chinese students, were held meetings with recruiting agencies, was organized a round table and different interesting meetings.
